-Lost a Hair vs. Mask match to Mil Mascaras, causing him to have his head shaved.
-While wrestling in Oregon, he broke Lonnie Mayne's arm, causing the bone to stick out of the skin.
-Credited with inventing the Texas Bullrope Match
-Was fluent in Spanish.
-After retiring, he ran a wrecking service in Houston. He learned about the business from fellow wrestler Nick Kozak.
-According to many reports, Bull Ramos had his leg amputated as a result of the effects of diabetes. This may not or may not be accurate, but it can be confirmed that his big toe was amputated after it became infected due to being punctured with a piece of glass.
-He was blind and living due to kidney dialysis three times per week during the last years of his life.
