Other Facts: -Was part of a talent trade between Jerry Jarrett and Bill Watts in 1983. Jarrett received Rick Rude, Jim Neidhart, Masao Ito, and Hacksaw Higgins. Watts received Eaton, Condrey, Cornette, The Rock-N-Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), and Terry Taylor. At the time Eaton & Condrey were not tag team partners, nor managed by Cornette. Watts put them together as The Midnight Express.
-Condrey & Eaton (managed by Cornette) is technically the 2nd tag team to use the name
-Condrey, Randy Rose, and Norvell Austin were The Midnight Express as a faction in Continental Wrestling Association from 1981-1983. During that time, Condrey, Rose, and Austin also incorporated Midnight Stallion, Ron Starr, Rick Harris, and Wayne Ferris into the faction.
-In 1987, Condrey quit wrestling for a brief time and was replaced with Stan Lane. Eaton & Lane were The Midnight Express in NWA/WCW from 1987-1990). There is also one record of them competing on a UWF event.
-Condrey and Rose reunited (w/ Paul E. Dangerously as their manager) from 1987-1989 in AWA, and NWA/WCW calling themselves The Original Midnight Express. When they got to NWA/WCW they began feuding with Eaton and Lane (w/ Cornette).
-Bodacious Bart (Bart Gunn) & Bombastic Bob (Bob Holly) were The Midnight Express in WWF in 1998. They were also managed by Cornette.
-Joey Maggs & Bobby Walker used the same name in WCW very briefly.
-Two other versions are in the record books on the indie circuit, consisting of Eaton with either Rikki Nelson or Brad Thomas.
-Inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2008 (Condrey & Eaton)
-Inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in 2019 (Condrey, Eaton, & Randy Rose)
