-When Rogers took a leave of absence from wrestling, Fulton's brother Jackie replaced him. Jackie Fulton, Bobby Fulton, & Tommy Rogers were a 3 man team in Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
-Rogers defeated Fulton in the 1st round of the WWF Light Heavyweight Title Tournament on the June 16, 1997 episode of "WWF Monday Night RAW" in Lake Placid, NY. Rogers' lost to Brian Christopher in the 2nd round of the tournament later in the evening in a match taped for "WWF Shotgun Saturday Night". It was Rogers' only time to wrestle for WWF. Fulton had previously appeared in WWF in 1979 and 1984.
