Other Facts: -Real name was Christopher J. Clancy
-When Tulsa was such a hotbed for the junior heavyweight division, Clancy became such a star in the division, that he made Tulsa his home.
-Worked for the Tulsa County Sheriff after his retirement from wrestling.
-Also owned a pub/pizza parlor called "Clancy's Pizza Parlor" in the Rosewood strip center at the northwest corner of 11th and Mingo in Tulsa.
-Despite being a heel, Karol Krauser was very close friends with Mike Clancy. Their families attended the same church and their children went to school together in Tulsa. Allegedly, Krauser had a clause in his contract stating that he was NEVER to face Clancy in a wrestling bout in Tulsa, nor could matches of theirs filmed elsewhere be shown on Tulsa TV on tape delay.
-Passed away on June 15, 1988 at the age of 63
