-Took the name Lou Trompe because of his love of playing cards
-Only worked as The Sheik in Montreal. He is not to be confused with Ed Farhat, who is most commonly known as "The Sheik" in the US. He did not use this gimmick at the same time as Farhat did.
-As Lou Papineau, he used the nickname "Leaping"
-As Mephisto, he wrestled under mask until he was unmasked by Len Rossi & Tex Riley on July 31, 1962, by Lester Welch on Augusst 1, 1962, and by Don Fields & Luke Fields on August 4, 1962
-Passed away March 7, 1964. He suffered a massive heart attack after wrestling Gino Brito.
