-Feuded in North Carolina with Al Lovelock (Great Bolo [1st]) over who was the rightful "Great Bolo".
-Competed under a mask as as Masked Marvel until he was unmasked by Rey Urbano on August 20, 1952
-Unmasked upon his retirement in 1972
-In the 80s, Renesto actually did a gimmick as the heel booker in Memphis feuding with Jerry Lawler that was ground breaking at the time, because they did a deal where Lawler threatened to quit the promotion over Renesto's booking and Eddie Marlin (figurehead promoter) sided with Lawler because he said running Lawler out was bad for business.
-Passed away on April 25, 2000 due to heart failure at the age of 72
