Other Facts: -Formerly known as BLK-OUT not to be confused with the tag team of the same name that competed in the northeast part of the United States. During this time, Ja’Mane was known as Jermaine Johnson while Tego was known as Montego Seeka
-The original pairing of BLK-OUT was Ja’Mane (as Jermaine Johnson) & Tyson Jaymes on July 26, 2008 but Jaymes went back to singles action and Ja’Mane chose Tego (then as Montego Seeka) as Jaymes' replacement. They split as a team and reformed on May 5. 2018 and changed the team name to The Step Brothas with Johnson now known as
-Colt Killbane tagged with Tego (as Seeka) as The Step Brothas on May 6, 2018. This appeared to be a one-time pairing.
-Jerry Bostic joined Ja’Mane and Tego as the Step Brothas on June 1, 2019.
-Disguised themselves as The Midnite Rider & Soto Miyagi when they won their 4th IZW Tag Team Title from The New Age Syndicate.
-In the fall of 2019, Mr. Wobble was added to the group, primarily to compete on the cards in Texas when Ja’Mane was unable to participate.
-Voted Tag Team of the Year and Match of the Year (vs. Impact, Inc.) in the 2009 Oklafan Year-End Awards.
