-Nicknamed Buddy Jack because his liquor of choice was Jack Daniels
-Didn't like to brush his teeth. Kevin Von Erich once cut his foot on the Buddy's foot by accident and it got infected.
-Was Mike Von Erich's first opponent.
-The first time the song "Badstreet USA" played was when Roberts came to the ring against David Von Erich on Nov. 14, 1983 in Ft. Worth, TX
