Nonetheless, they made it to the finals of the TPW Tag Team Title Tournament, but on the day of the championship match, Jackson chose to go to a Kansas Jayhawks basketball game instead of coming to assist his partner.
-Both were forced into retirement when they lost a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs/Career Match to Dutch Hagen & Rocco Valentino on August 9, 2008
