-Pampero Firpo used the drawn out, "Ooooohhhhh yyyyyeaaaahhhhhh" long before Randy Savage
-While working as The Missing Link in Hawaii, he was approached to be in an episode of Hawaii 5-0 as someone who was supposed to terrorize some kids so that Jack Lord could save the day. But Link was a babyface and wanted to be on Lord's side so as not to break kayfabe. He never did appear in the episode.
-Wrestled his last match on October 17, 1986.
-Wrestled on 5 different continents, 21 foreign countries, all 50 states, and had 6,881 bouts.
-Retired from wrestling and worked at one of the United States Post Office branches in San Jose, CA
-Inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in 2018 (as Pampero Firpo)
-Passed away January 9, 2020 at the age of 89.
