Other Facts: -The original version of The
Midnight Express consisted of Condrey, Randy Rose, & Norvell Austin. The version of Condrey & Eaton, managed by Cornette, is the second version and competed regularly in MSW and WCCW. Eaton & Condrey have also reunited over the past few years as well. A third version, also managed by Cornette, consisted of Eaton & Stan Lane who competed in NWA and
WCW. There is one record of them competing on a UWF event. A fourth version, managed by Paul E. Dangerously, consisted of the reunited Condrey & Rose. They competed in AWA before going to NWA to feud with Cornette, Eaton, & Lane. Cornette also managed a short-lived fifth version in
WWF that consisted of Bob Holly & Bart Gunn. WCW even tried a new combo with Joey Maggs & Bobby Walker. Two other versions are in the record books on the indy circuit, consisting of Eaton with either Rikki Nelson or Brad Thomas.
-Cornette was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2005
-Condrey & Eaton (as a team) were inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2008.
